I knew my 10 days in Berlin would be incredible. What I didn’t expect was the movie I was going to watch on the flight home would be just as epic. At 42 I’ve seen a lot of films. When I was 13 my father showed me A Clockwork Orange. It takes a lot to impress me. Whenever I fly I download a few movies onto my iPad. I usually just look at see what’s rated highly on Rotten Tomatoes and is somewhat new. Within the first 10 minutes of Pedro Almodóvar’s The Skin I Live In my eyes were glued wide opened on the screen. It’s a super stylish tragic drama with a heart wrenching and surprising twist. It’s too early to tell for sure but I believe it’s one of the top 10 movies I’ve ever seen. I’m so in love with what I saw I would dare say it could even be my favorite movie of all time. If you have seen it let me know your opinion (good or bad). If you haven’t seen it wow you are in for a real treat!
