Future Music on Modular

This month’s Future Music magazine has a video interview with musician Benge about his modulars. There’s also text interviews with Carl Craig, Clark, Jimmy Edgar, Zombie Nation and Simian Mobile Disco on their favorite modules.

“We’ve gone back a step and realized with everything being done inside the computer may have been a bit of a kind of a wrong direction.” – Benge

Oliver, unless I missed it along the line, I don’t think you’ve ever mentioned the Elektron Four. Any opinions?

  2. Miguel Marcos says:

    Analog Four, that is.

    • Your right I don’t think I mention Elektron stuff much here mostly because I’ve never used any in person. I also I’m a bit wary of the interface… seems tough to learn. That said I know people really love those boxes and I’d like to try one one day.

  3. FYI: the interviewed guy Benge blogs at http://myblogitsfullofstars.blogspot.nl/
    ,which has often interesting/weird stuff
