I have had problems before, and all I needed to do is ask someone for they´re laptop (doesn't work with PPC) or even iMac etc...) plug the drive Reboot, press ALT and choose the drive .. BOOM .. everything is running just like if it was your own... AWESOME ... for this purpose I use a FF800 drive but it will work with USB2 (just a little slower ) ... I really really recomend you to try this out .. I generally say it's my spare mac for €100 ...
