Jäger 90 Live

An Electronic Body Music band has to be good live. In my opinion the sing Thoralf and synth man Vigo ofJäger 90 have it going on. I would like to play an event where they are or work with them on something.

“Jäger 90 is a band from Germany, Rostock. Their musical influence lies in the 80s, first and foremost in the legendary pioneers of EBM: Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft.” – Last.fm

I’m always having some problems with the style of the german EBM and industrial scene, it is just so shockingly similar to the NeoNazis look and style. I listened a lot to that style of music in my youth, like Die Krupps who had to struggle a lot to get rid of the rumors. It simply is that martial esthetic with the german lyrics that makes my left-orientated brain tingle in alarm…

    • I think it’s important that people can release angst in art. There has to be a safe place to explore this stuff as humans are born to compete, struggle and unfortunately war. There’s no doubt there is some of what your concern is however the atheistic in a lot of northern Europe is just that and Nazi’s are far from the thoughts of a lot of these people. Just my opinion of course!

Being on my first ever EBM Festival which happened to be the last Christmas Ball,I found it strange too seeing so many people dressed up in that old fashion. Very well knowing that its not the ideological point of view they’re attracted to,it still bothered me ’cause I’d love to go to a HC Techno party where they play EBM and even have a Live act.Well, since I dont understand fashion anyway, all I can do is respect what they do.I find it pityful though that the German language and a pair of boots seem to trigger nazi.
