Saw Too Dark Park tour - which was great fun, but yeah - I thought Vivisect VI and Rabies were amazing albums! Anyone that knows me knows I LOVE dark eerie synths/sounds.

At the height of my gear-lust I (also) had an Emax, ESQ/M (I LOVED THAT MACHINE!), TR808 and SPX90. ;-P

Agreed, that album was intense and their best...i loved VX Gas Attack. Honestly, i can't remember if it was this tour or the one for Rabies that i saw in Hotlanta back when i was in art school in Savannah. I do remember after the show my ears rang for days, i was concerned it was gonna be permament.

I missed that tour unfortunately, just a wee bit too young to escape for it. I sure remember when they came through on it though. I wasn't into them yet but many of my buddies were. I loved especially loved their look at that time, still do, just awesome. Anyway, after the show a bunch of my friends were convinced Ogre had been killed in the show. Their descriptions of other "occurrences" in the show made it clear there was no point arguing. Point is I started listening soon after and never missed a show after that. While never convinced anyone died the shows were certainly filled with... "occurrences".

I've seen them in the midwest in the middle of a tour and on the east coast at the beginning. The middle of a tour is better, they seemed to have built up improvisations as they toured. The early part was much, much tighter. I liked the looser craziness.

Still, I agree this was the top, but there is so much good material. Cleanse Fold Manipulate, my god even the phrase is awesome. Last Call may be my favorite track, I just love the synths in that one.
