So far none of the April Fools jokes are all that good so I’m posting a Cat Playing a Theremin video. Google tried way too hard with Google Maps 8-bit for NES, Gmail Tap and the Google Fiber Bar. Moog released a sound pack for Animoog “based” on a certain bodily function. Side-Line magazine let us know Justin Beiber covered a VNV Nation track (link). Let me know if you’ve been tricked by anything good today.

The Moog BASE pack thing may have a silly promo video, but it’s not an April Fool. I downloaded it this morning; it gives you 40 new timbres to play with, and there are 25 new presets. Strangely, the pack’s not available for the iPhone version yet.
Ah funny… so it’s gas sounds?
Here’s another two: http://www.synthtopia.com/content/2012/04/01/whole-tone-fixed-width-keyboard/ and http://www.virginvolcanic.com/
kodak.com is fun
Ah yes!
@Oliver – yeah, it’s all pretty squelchy and unmusical TBH, although some of the new timbres are pretty cool for swapping out with the original set of presets. I’ve not used them for anything yet but I can imagine the BASE set will be more useful for percussion than anything melodic.
Ok grabbing it!
yeah i download the pack yday and it’s interesting
“Blow on the cartridge to fix bugs”, ha ha ha
