As long as people are blogging, doing music, movies, whether they are talented or not... they stay home in front of their computer, they buy stuff they don't need online and they do not think about how they are screwed up by their leaders (or so-called). That I think is annoying.

Interesting you see as a dark age. Do you find you don't like new music coming out now? I think there is still quite a large pool of great music being released however the main stream marketing is gone so we don't see or feel or maybe get behind a band or music the same way as we once did.

But as technology grows learning, time, and effort decreases. Maybe we will get to the point where complete songs can be made in shorter time than the song itself. Maybe only the most unique personalities and the most creative will shine through the rest... if they are ever heard. I fear this artistic dark age will last longer than my lifetime.

True... it takes a good amount of learning (time), effort and time not earning money to make art so... then again it's human nature so I think volume will still be high (which is ok!).

Some scary predictions in there... but I think when making art looses it's coolness, only the artists will make it.
