Looks like a great product, but $1000+ strikes me as a bit ludicrous. The digital control portion of this can't be half as complicated as a modern wireless internet router, and those run for less than $100. Write off another $100 for quality switchable patchbay components... tack on another $100 for costs associated with limited-quantity production. The margin on this thing still feels pretty unjustifiable to me.

Hopefully this will inspire some other manufacturers to jump in and offer competing products at a more reasonable price point. There's definitely demand for a product like this, very useful.

You can get a simple TRS patchbay for about $50-100. I have three of them and they are very helpful.
