Man, what are your thoughts on a desert island analog synth? Personally I don’t think I’d need something as in depth as a Virus or a Prophet, but I definitely like the organic-ness of analog. I just got a Monotron and am happier with it than I am with all of the plugins I have. The plugins sound pretty good, but nothing beats mangling the sound with your own bare hands.

I’ve checked out the Dark Energy and it seems like a good candidate. This looks promising as well. Help me Oliver One Chinobi.

MacBeth is definitely worth following on Facebook – he’s an interesting guy and his synths are fantastic. He’s always talking about a new module or sharing a video of himself knocking out a 70′s style prog solo.
