I put 25 points on my QY8 which attaches to my bending patch bay dev board, there are so many tasty soundscapes! when used as a midi sound source (meaning bends + internal sequencers sometimes = crash), these devices can crush dainty beats and slurr techno. if you are a midi head and want to get into the bending world, one of these would be an excellent addition! tiny tiny tiny inside with all those surface mounted chips, careful hands, fresh tips and subtly tinned wires are a must! here's another great bender who has inspired me! http://www.burnkit2600.com/yamaha-qy-10/ dig it!
