I have to admit that lately I’ve started to enjoy silence ’cause you don’t have to eq it and it’s always in time ;-)…and this has nothing to do with depeche mode, of course. for the dentist – what doesn’t kill you… ;-)

I enjoy reading your blog and I have a dentist appointment in about half an hour – “geteiltes leid ist halbes leid” as the germans say ;-). but they do play music there…anyway. have a nice day.

You don’t get to bring in an mp3 player? Ouch! Last summer I had all 4 wisdom teeth broken and extracted in one session. I could_not_have_done_it without my comfort music playing.

I dug deep into that music. Tried to trance out. To the point where the surgeon had to try a little harder than usual to get my attention. (In fairness to me, she wasn’t english.) She was cool with me being zoned out. She said I was the most relaxed patient she had ever had for this procedure. That wasn’t very convincing at the time, I didn’t feel very relaxed.
