[...] Pure analog electronic snares, snaps and crashes are what the new Jomox M.Brain 1_1 is all about. If your like me and have spent countless hours searching for the snap sound in Soft Cell’s Tainted Love (iTunes link) then this seems like the box for you. I know I’m going to grab one to sit next to my MBase. If you haven’t already seen it be sure to check out my visit to Jomox and interview with Jürgen Michaelis: click here [...]

Great Job. JoMoX is one of my favorite gear producers out there. Had the Vermona, not for me (although it was pretty amazing). My XBase 09 is a critical part of my new live rig:

Thanks for taking the time to stop by - there are so many of us in the US and other places that really like to know what the "lab" looks like.

I might be in Berlin for a few months this winter. If so, Jomox will have to be one of my visits.

Good video.

I'm hoping that Jomox decides to make some kind of extreme dynamics processor in the style of the resonator boxes - full stereo signal path, all those knobs, all that distortion, those crazy envelopes. If you ever happen to speak with him again, perhaps drop a subtle request?
