I like to use sometimes an alternate to the snare, a clap, so not every hit is a snare, or use syncopated claps from time to time to indeed surprise the listener -- that&#039;s very important. Backwards snares and claps have been used for a long time, but I think those are very much worn out as an effect by now.</description>
